Surfboard Warranty

All new Gato Herói, Crème, and Lovemachine surfboards purchased directly through Wild Things are covered by a 30 day warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Surfboards are not warranted against breakage. 

What is Covered

- Structural defects in materials or workmanship
- Manufacturing faults in glassing or lamination

What is Not Covered

- Pressure dents, shatters, or cosmetic damage resulting from normal use
- Damage caused by impact (rocks, collisions, dropping)
- Creasing or snapping
- Delamination or damage caused by heat exposure
- Damage caused by improper storage or transport
- Modifications or repairs carried out by third parties

Warranty claims must be submitted within 30 days of purchase and include proof of purchase.

Wild Things reserves the right to inspect and assess all warranty claims. Where a product is determined to have a manufacturing defect, Wild Things will repair or replace the item at its discretion.

Please note:

Warranty coverage applies only to goods sold directly by Wild Things.
Customers are responsible for shipping and insurance costs when returning items for assessment.
If a product is assessed and found not to be faulty, return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
Surfboard brands other than Gato Herói, Crème, and Lovemachine are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranty policies. 
Surfboards sold elsewhere are not covered  under this warranty policy.
Secondhand, used, or ex-demo boards are not covered under this warranty policy.

Wild Things Fin Warranty Policy

All Wild Things branded fins are covered by a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects. 

This includes:

- Structural cracking under normal use
- Manufacturing faults in materials

This does not include:

- Damage caused by impact
- Damage caused by improper installation
- Normal wear and tear

Warranty claims require proof of purchase and photo documentation

Please note this warranty applies strictly to Wild Things branded fins. Other fin brands stocked by Wild Things (including but not limited to True Ames and Gato Herói) are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranty policies.

 

Wild Things Apparel, Accessories and Board Socks Warranty

All Wild Things branded apparel, accessories and boardsocks are covered by a 30 day warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.

What is Covered

- Manufacturing faults in materials
- Faulty stitching or construction defects

What is Not Covered

- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse or improper care
- Fading, stretching or shrinkage resulting from incorrect washing or drying
- Damage caused by impact or abrasion

Warranty claims require proof of purchase and photo documentation. This warranty applies only to Wild Things branded products purchased from Wild Things directly.
