SURF CLUB
2024 Season
There's a fresh calendar of events in the pipeline, starting in February. Follow our instagram (@surfclub_byron) to stay up to date!
SURF CLUB is an inclusive social surfing competition held monthly (for the months of the year with waves) and based in the Byron area. We host four regular local club meets, and will plan for one major event per year (with prize money and international competitors) as well as one 'away' weekend event per year.
Belongil Beach is the official home for surf club! We are allowed us to use the stretch of beach from signals all the way to elements for the meetings on specified dates throughout the year.
In the process of gaining council approval we have also registered with surfing NSW which gives us insurance as a club and it also offers each member the opportunity to purchase personal insurance that covers you for the year wherever/whenever you surf. This part is totally optional, but a good idea. If you want more info on this check it out on the link below. Let us know if you’d like to go ahead with this and if so we can get you a discount code.
