Operations Assistant

The Role:

The role will have a wholesale/retail operations support focus, and will include picking, packing and shipping online orders, managing warranty and exchange returns, in store merchandising, order and invoice entry, as well as stock management, (ordering refills, stocktakes, product set up) as well as some general day-to-day customer service.

There is the potential to move towards content creation, photography, copywriting and assisting with marketing later down the track if desired. Product photography and photoshop skills would be very useful, as well as knowledge of surfboard design principles and familiarity with our product offering, particularly board models! We only sell stuff that we really love in the shop which tends to make advising customers fun and easy, however the admin/wholesale work does require initiative and a strong attention to detail.

4. Strong computer skills & quick to learn new skills too

Other Desirable traits:

Experience or interest in marketing
Photography/photoshop skills (product photography focus)
Familiar with Xero, shopify and shaperbuddy
Cin7 experience highly desirable
