About the company:

Wild Things Gallery is a unique surf-based company with studio and showroom in Manly Vale, Sydney. We manufacture and distribute Gato Heroi surfboards and we distribute Captain Fin (Apparel, accessories and surfboard fins with templates and art designed by the worlds best surfers), as well as Octopus (surf grips and leashes). We have our own online store as well as the retail space / showroom, which includes in-house studios for a fashion designer, an artist and 2 photographers. Wild Things is a unique work environment. After nearly 4 years of successful operation, built from the ground up, we have expanded to the point that we have an opportunity for another person to join our small team on a flexible casual / part-time basis.



CASUAL Retail / Sales Role (VACANT)

The Role: 
Customer service – sales experience (retail or wholesale), you will be advising customers on surfboards, tents, surf hardware and so on. Knowledge of surfboard design principles would be very beneficial.
Wholesale support – take enquiries from our wholesale accounts, process orders and returns from wholesalers and webstore customers, receive deliveries and perform stock takes.
Marketing - assist with marketing initiatives for the various brands under our umbrella
Assist with product and content upload and editing

Criteria:

1. Sales and customer Service Experience
2. Ability to work independently and use initiative
3. Advanced computer skills (particularly MS Excel)
4. Strong time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities

Other Desirable traits:

Experience or interest in marketing
Small business accounting experience
Experience in a warehouse operations environment and wholesale/ eCommerce operations

Please be aware that we are not looking for aspiring creatives / designers, this is primarily a retail/sales role.
