SURF CLUB: 25 MAR

The March edition of Surf Club enjoyed some surprisingly rippable waves, with a small but enthusiastic turnout making their way down to Signals at Belongil. There was some epic surfing on display, particularly from the girls, with Maddie Gross earning possibly the best wave score of the event in either division. Roisin Carolan was on fire as always, taking out the womens, with some red hot surfing. For the mens, it was Kai's day. Kai's consistently smooth and critical surfing throughout the event was not possible to better. A well deserved win and great practice for the WSL Manly longboard classic in Manly a month later which he managed to win!
Surf Club is a community event, with all levels of surfing and all types of surfboards encouraged! It is fun to have a focal point but Surf Club is not really about the pointscore. Many people have commented that it has helped them get to know people they always see out in the water and that is what it is all about! Bringing the community together... And the pure joy of a solid day hanging out down at the beach with friends and loved ones. We hope to see you at the next one - all welcome! ❤️
